A Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) provides the foundation for all nursing skills and is the first step to advancing into a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN). Students in CNA and LVN programs learn through a combination of classroom and clinical settings, and once completed, qualify to take the state certification and licensure exams.
